My absolute favorite and most used Primal Kitchen product is definitely the mayo!

I have never been a fan of mayonnaise or miracle whip. Something about it has always grossed me out and honestly, I just never liked the taste of it. I especially don’t like that the addition of sugar, vegetable oils, and high fructose corn syrup to products. What I do like; however, is that I have found Primal Kitchen’s mayo. Now I can enjoy sandwich spreads, dips, tuna salads, egg salads, etc!! The taste is great and I love that I can feel happy about choosing a healthy choice for myself and my family.

Ingredients: avocado oil, organic cage-free eggs, organic egg yolks, organic vinegar (from non-GMO beets), sea salt, rosemary extract.

→ not only is it sugar free but it’s also gluten, dairy, soy and canola oil free!!!


Where can you buy this mayo at?

The product is still a very new one to hit the market so it hasn’t made it’s way into very many stores just yet. I have yet to see it in any local health food stores around here but that doesn’t mean it isn’t coming! So, unfortunately, as far as I know you can only buy it online at this time. If anyone comes across it in stores please let me know and I’ll share that information with everyone.

I’ve tried them all and can’t say enough good things about them. The chocolate almond bars are a little chewy because they are made with collagen protein powder. They aren’t bad at all, just different than what I expected when I bit into that first bar.

I’ve tried to make homemade mayo before but I’ve learned in my healthy journey along the years that there are some things worth making homemade and others just aren’t worth the effort. For me, mayo is one of them. I have never successfully made my own so I prefer to buy it. Other things such as sauces, dips, and dressings and easier to make homemade and something that doesn’t cause me to get so frustrated. In life we have to pick our battles, am I right?!? Have a great weekend everyone! Eat something healthy 🙂
